Have you noticed life insurance policies are everywhere you look?On the Television, life insurance policies. On the back pages of the tabloids life insurance policies. In the Sunday supplements countless leaflets fall out, you've guessed it, life insurance policies. If its not one company it's another.They all offer the same coverage just in different guises. If you want to insure yourself or your family you can easily find a company that will offer a service for you.

I wish it was that easy to find some one to fix my lawnmower. I have never seen any adverts on the television or in the daily papers advertising lawnmower repairs,. The flipping thing broke down this morning I was hoping to get the grass cut before the rain comes . It is forecast heavy rain tomorrow. I'll borrow Peter's next door.

I hate borrowing things I always feel its a sign of incompetence. Of not being organised, of not caring to plan ahead and be sure you have what you need. I suppose it comes from my father he always used to say

'never a lender or borrower be and you won't go far wrong in life'

I guess it has stuck with me. Yet if someone wants to borrow from me I honestly don't mind as long as whatever it is,is returned promptly and in the same condition I lent it out. Come to think of it I don't think any worse of them for borrowing either. It doesn't mean they are necessarily badly organised . Perhaps like me there own item has just broken. I really must stop sweating the small stuff .

I went round to Peter's

'Hello Peter, could I borrow your lawn mower , mines gone on the blink and I'd lie to get the grass cut before tomorrow?'

'Sure no problem I'll just get it for you'

I trundled the mower round to my house and cut the grass. I was proud of my neatly clipped lawn. The stretch of greenis the block of colour all gardens need. Gardeningis my hobby. I have a small pond and waterfall but I only have it for the wildlife. I like to watch the frogs .They are funny as they hop around and sit around the pond . I feed the birds too an have bird boxes in the garden. I potter mostly due to my failing health but I get a lot of pleasure from my garden. There, that's the grass cut. I'll just clean the machine and take it back. I looked up at the sky and realised I had done it just in time . The rain clouds were gathering.
