When I was in my twenties I worked for two different motor trade insurance companies. From 1979 to 1984 I worked for a Green motor trade insurance companies Dream. Then I had joined another company that it had owned called Blue Motor Trade Insurance Companies Value. I worked for them from 1984 to 1989. After that I got into trying to find work for one of the different motor trade insurance companies. However it was too challenging to find a job in motor insurance.

So I looked at job adverts for other types of insurance and I found a lovely listing about a job in travel insurance. It was with Wish for cheap Travel Insurance. I got that job offered to me after my interview. I was happy to accept and it was so very near to my home. I arranged cover for tourists travelling overseas. It made me think about doing some traveling myself. I got four weeks annual leave so I was able to do trip of one month. I booked to go to Australia. I looked at the rates of travel insurance and got a 20% discount on 'worldwide' because I was working for them.

I flew out on first November to Cairns. I stayed in a friendly looking guest house near to the ocean. I took a day to visit the Great Barrier Reef. I did some snorkeling to see the colourful coral. I went on trip up to Cape Tribulation where the rain forest meets the sea. I flew of to visit Ayer's Rock next and saw the red rock at sunrise. Wow! Finally I flew to Sydney and saw the white sails of the opera house and the grey harbour bridge. I was bored when I got back home. I hoped to go off on another overseas adventure soon after that.

At my work's Christmas Party I met a gorgeous looking man called Laurie. He had ginger hair and blue eyes. He was really tall and slim looking. I had a slow dance with him to Careless Whisper. At the end it he kissed my lips really gently. He was Dave my colleague's brother. He and I began dating every Saturday. He took me to the pictures to see an exciting film. He took me to the roller skating park. We went on a day trip to France. So moving into travel insurance had led me to meet the man of my dreams.
